Established in 2009, we specialize in manufacturing thermal insulation and abrasion resistant products for hose, cable, pipe, tube and equipment in China, being committed to improve safety and production effificiency for customers worldwide.
The Development Course
Team Built, Technique Breakthrough & Hantai Foundation
Three founders (Mike Zeng, QH Zhao & QL Zhao, brothers) established a research team for new firesleeve technologies out of shared interest. China’s first firesleeve coated with double polymer silicone rubber was launched. In the same year, HANTAI New Materials was founded with 7 production lines.
R&D Dept. Establishment
R&D dept. was established by incorporating Dr. Yang who graduated from the University of Nottingham with PhD in both high-temperature materials and nanotechnology. Export team built.
Hantai first Expansion
Factory was moved to new industrial zone with 2 new workshops. Product range was expanded with 9 production lines.
Hantai second expansion
Production plant was expanded to 4 workshops with 15 production lines. Custom fabrication dept. was established. Product range extended to include sleeving, tape, rope, fabric and custom fabrication.
Significant Year for Hantai
Acquisition of HANTAI Industrial Zone. Production plant was expanded to 30 weaving lines and 15 coating lines. Tiny sleeve dept. was established with 100 production lines. The 1st Industrial Grade Firesleeve was successfully developed in China. Hefei Branch & Guangzhou Branch were established.
The Beginning of the "Five-Year Plan" of Hantai
Upgraded brand strategy with launch of corporate mascot - Ant Defender. Took the lead in completing the environmental protection equipment upgrading for firesleeve workshop in China. Expanded firesleeve production capacity to 30 lines with innovation and improvement on production technology. Started construction for 2 new workshops of 10,000 square meters.
Hantai third Expansion
2 new workshops totaling 10,000 square meters were completed and put into operation. A new warehouse with 5,000 square meters was put into use, which greatly increased warehousing capacity. Firesleeve production facilities were upgraded to 40 weaving lines and 30 coating lines, with an annual output of 2.5 million meters. Firesleeve size range was expanded to 160mm ID.
Technological Breakthrough and Global Layout
Successfully applying 3D scanning technology in production has greatly boosted product adaptability and efficiency, marking the shift from "traditional manufacturing" to "technology - driven production". Establishing HANTAI (NINGGUO) IMPORT AND EXPORT COMPANY LIMITED - leveraging a professional foreign trade team to optimize the international supply chain and deepen overseas market cooperation, helps the brand transition from "regional operation" to "global layout".
